Review: Swissco Glass File

As you may have gathered by now, I’m now a nail polish addict. I can’t wait for the next bloc of time I can use to change my nail color, and I look forward to finally trying out nail art. I decided that since I’m going to be doing this for some time, and while I am keeping to the cheaper polishes for now, I need to invest in good tools to maintain my nails. I’ve been hearing raves on this product, and since Digital Traincase is so conveniently selling them, I decided to splurge on it. It costs Php300 for one glass file of your chosen color (green for me!).

It comes in a nice plastic tube to protect it. And for added protection, Digital Traincase wrapped the bundle tightly with bubble wrap to ensure that the glass file will not break in transit. It IS glass, after all. It arrived whole and undamaged. The file is one-sided only, with just smooth glass on the side with the Swissco brand.

Tips for use: File only in one direction; do not file in a back-and-forth saw-like motion. Give a quick clean using running water. For added measure, give it a swipe of alcohol. Dry with a clean cloth.

Conclusion: I think this is a very good investment. As long as I don’t drop and break this, I would not ever need to buy a nail file anymore. It’s very easy to clean, and it comes with its own protective container.
